Hello,

I have a lot of the following routers: https://openwrt.org/toh/zinwell/zw4400

I have successfully installed OpenWRT...but as there is no available version of Broadband-Hamnet, I need to know how to configure the wireless interfaces for mesh.

In addition: I will have 420, 900, 2.4 and 5.4 cards available, so is it possible to bridge the various frequencies into one network that is one mesh?

73,

KB3VWG

(also is it possible to get an x86 and IXP42x-tw5334 target of Broadband-Hamnet, or where can I find the files to compile?)

I've done further testing. OpenWRT to OpenWRT devices work; but when connecting to a Broadband-Hamnet device, the routes never populate in OpenWRT and vice versa.

I cannot find any setting in Broadband-Hamnet that would make the routes behave differently.

I've now been able to enter the command line of Broadband Hamnet 3.1.0...it's based on OpenWRT Kamikaze (version 7). OpenWRT is now at version 17.01.4...It uses standard OLSR as it's routing protocol on WiFi...this is perfect for the needed use application. I don't see any config differences from 17.01.4, though. So this is now a question for the developers of the Broadband Hamnet firmware...there's also the feature of hostnames we place into the Broadband Hamnet device that propagate it over the Mesh...I would like to request the developers to share those scripts and information on their code (i.e. are you on a public online code repository?) under the relevant Open Source Licenses so it could possible receive needed Operating System updates, and be cross compatible with all OpenWRT routers.
